Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using Azima Leo. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to comply with them.
Overview
Azima Leo is a loan and asset finance management platform that connects borrowers and lenders (such as SACCOs, MFIs, businesses, and individuals). Azima Leo is not itself a lender — we provide a secure digital space for managing loan lifecycles, repayments, analytics, and compliance.
Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Azima Leo as a borrower or lender.
- Institutions (e.g., SACCOs, businesses) must be legally registered and authorized to provide financial services in their jurisdiction.
Platform Role
Azima Leo provides tools for loan management but does not:
- Offer loans directly to customers.
- Guarantee loan approvals or repayments.
- Provide financial advice or regulatory approval for any institution.
User Obligations
- Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information when registering or applying for loans.
- Protect your login credentials and notify us immediately in case of unauthorized access.
- Comply with all applicable laws, including Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.
Limitation of Liability
Azima Leo is not liable for losses, defaults, or disputes arising from agreements between borrowers and lenders. Our role is limited to providing technology infrastructure and ensuring data security.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Uganda, including the Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019. Any disputes shall be resolved in Ugandan courts of jurisdiction.
